ITPO Shanghai Nominated with "Gender Mobilization Award" at 19th UNIDO General Conference

On Nov 29, the 19th session of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) general conference with the theme of "Building a Better Future" were held by video in Vienna, Austria. UNIDO ITPO Shanghai was nominated as "Gender Equality Mobilization Award", which proves ITPO Shanghai team is a recognized pioneer of UNIDO's promotion of gender equality and the empowerment of women.

 

The GEM Award is a global call for UNIDO to further empower women to fully participate in inclusive and sustainable industrial development and to accelerate the achievement of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, with a view to publicly recognizing UNIDO staff's outstanding deeds and initiatives in promoting gender equality and women's empowerment in their work.
